Veloris Group Limited - Environmental Policy

ENV-POL-01

Veloris is committed to protecting the environment and minimising the impact of its operations. This policy has the full support of Senior Management, who are dedicated to environmental protection through risk identification, setting measurable targets, and defining environmental objectives.

We recognise our responsibility to operate in a sustainable manner, minimise our environmental footprint, and comply with all relevant environmental legislation, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and other obligations applicable to our activities across the UK and Europe.

The scope of this policy covers all business activities, sites, and offices without exception. It outlines our commitment to continually improve environmental performance and the management system by setting clear objectives, analysing performance measures, and providing staff training. We will ensure pollution and waste prevention across the business by following best practices.

Veloris proactively prevents pollution, spills, and releases to air, land, and water, and uses natural resources efficiently by reducing waste, energy consumption, and water use wherever practicable. We support circular economy principles through responsible material management, including reuse and recycling.

Managing our climate impact is a core priority. We integrate environmental considerations into procurement by working with suppliers who demonstrate strong environmental performance.

We are committed to protecting local ecosystems and minimising disturbance to the environment. Materials are stored, handled, and transported responsibly to reduce environmental risk. We provide employees with training and foster a culture in which everyone understands their role in protecting the environment and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Under the guidance of the Management Team, we are developing an Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001. This system is tailored to the risks, scale, and environmental impacts of our activities and will help ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements while maintaining consistent control of operations.

This policy will be communicated to all staff and subcontractors and will be reviewed annually and made available to the public and other interested parties as required.
