Rolls batteries are manufactured in Nova Scotia, Canada by the Surrette battery company, who have been in the battery manufacturing business since 1935. Rolls batteries specialise in the production of deep cycle batteries for many market sectors and in particular Renewable Energy and Remote Stand By Power operations. Rolls Energy Storage Solutions
Rolls UL1973-certified high performance S48-100LFP ESS offers a compact 48V 100Ah energy storage solution in a 4Ucase design for installation in standard 19” racking systems. Featuring a customized BMS, primary and secondary operating protections, an integrated display & controls showing real-time state-of charge and error indication, external breaker access, CAN BUS, RJ485 & PC Connectivity. For increased capacity, up to 16 units may be connected in parallel. An optional Rolls LFP ESS Cabinet with fully integrated combiner boxes, top-mount connections, locking casters and modular construction for up to eight (8) 2U, 3U or 4U unit installation is also available.

Rolls Series 4000 Deep Cycle Batteries
The Rolls series 4000 batteries are available in 2V, 6V or 12V configuration and offer a wide range of capacities. Used in a variety of applications including renewable energy systems, they have a long life expectancy and one of the longest warranty periods available.

Rolls Series 5000 Deep Cycle Batteries
Rolls have been manufacturing batteries for over 60 years and have built a reputation on reliability, durability and easy maintenance of its product. The series 5000 all have a dual container construction and the high-density polyethylene material maximizes durability and eliminates acid leaks even if the outer container ruptures. The unique 'resistox' plate design offers more resistance to corrosion and maximizes the life of the battery. The life expectancy of Rolls 5000 batteries are amongst the longest in the industry.

Rolls Battery has designed a premium Deep Cycle VRLA battery with high reserve capacity, long cycle life and low internal resistance, while achieving superior cranking performance. The Rolls AGM batteries are the smart choice for demanding recreational and industrial deep discharge applications. They are designed and built differently than automotive starting batteries. They use more lead, heavier plates and other proprietary materials that enable them to deliver more power and capacity over many life cycles. Available in various capacities as either 2V, 6V or 12V monoblocs.

Lucas-VRLA
Rail
Veloris provides battery systems and solutions for a variety of railway vehicles to the modern rail industry. These include diesel starting batteries and carriage lighting batteries that meet the safety and reliability standards required by contemporary railways.
Our lead acid batteries start, and power trains and rapid rail systems are specially designed to have a longer life than standard batteries as well as requiring reduced maintenance due to low antimony alloys.
Like cars, locomotives need a battery to start the engine as well as to provide electrical power for lighting and controls when the engine is off, and power is not being generated by the alternator. Diesel trains use our heavy-duty industrial batteries both for starting and for operating a range of equipment on board.

Solar Systems
Solar power solutions convert renewable energy from sunlight into electricity, either directly using photovoltaics (PV), indirectly using concentrated solar power, or a combination of the two. Photovoltaic cells convert the light into an electric current using the photovoltaic effect, which in turn is either used immediately or stored in batteries.
A solar battery allows you to continue powering your devices (home or mobile) with renewable solar energy during night-time hours when the solar panels no longer generate energy. Solar panels convert solar energy into usable electricity and, often produce more electricity than can be used, hence the need to store it for when you need it. In domestic applications, it is also possible to ‘sell’ excess power back to the national power suppliers.
